Temporary Jr. Graphic Designer / Graphic Production Assistant

About the Role
White Paper Office Solutions is looking for a Temporary Jr. Graphic Designer / Graphic Production Assistant to support a major FRP migration project. This position will play a key role in converting and standardizing customer artwork as we transition from our existing online ordering platform to a new system.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or junior designer looking to gain valuable production experience while working on a large-scale project with an established company.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert and prepare existing customer artwork for migration into our new online ordering system.
- Recreate, update, and standardize artwork to meet new platform specifications.
- Ensure all artwork adheres to company branding standards and customer requirements.
- Organize, name, and maintain digital artwork files with exceptional accuracy.
- Perform quality assurance checks to ensure artwork is print-ready and correctly formatted.
- Work closely with internal departments to resolve artwork questions and inconsistencies.
- Meet project deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certificate in Graphic Design or a related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat.
- Strong understanding of graphic design principles, including layout, spacing, visual hierarchy, typography, and branding guidelines. Typesetting required.
- Pantone guide experience is an asset.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow established processes while maintaining consistency across a large volume of artwork.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with print production, promotional products, or pre-press is considered an asset but is not required.
