Industrial Mechanic Responsibilities:
o Maintaining and Repairing Machinery and Equipment
o Working with heavy machinery turning raw steel coils into finished product
o Working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
o Working with/around overhead cranes and forklifts
o Keeping work areas clean and organized
Beneficial Skills/Experience:
o Any previous experience as a mechanic
o Experience with a Lathe, Mill, or Welding
o First aid and WHIMIS certificate (preferred)
o Organizational skills
o Attentive to detail
o Basic math skills
o Ability to work with a team and individually
o Analytical thinking and problem solving
o Flexibility with tasks and enthusiastic about learning more
