Greenfoot Energy Solutions is looking for a Journeyman/Red Seal Electrician to join our team in New Glasgow, NS.
Duties will primarily consist of service upgrades, panel swaps, as well as any additional electrical work that may be required to ensure full compliance with NSP & Electrical Code standards. The role may also involve installing and commissioning a range of equipment, including generator panels, EV chargers, electric boilers, and baseboard heating systems, as well as providing wiring support for heat pump and solar panel installations. You will also oversee and mentor an apprentice, ensuring high-quality workmanship, proper training, and adherence to industry standards on all job sites.
Qualifications:
- Ambitious, detail-oriented, friendly, willing to learn/adapt, and works well in a team environment.
- Residential service upgrade experience required.
- Valid Red Seal Electrical License.
- Valid Drivers License.
