Job Description
We are seeking a passionate Part-Time Server to join our team at our independently owned and operated Kimchee Restaurant in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for service, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a busy, customer-focused setting. As a key member of our team, the server will be responsible for delivering exceptional service, recommending high-quality Korean and Japanese dishes, and maintaining a clean and organized section.
Responsibilities:
- Serve a diverse range of authentic Korean and Japanese food, beverages, and drinks with precision and efficiency
- Engage with customers to provide friendly and attentive service, while also offering recommendations on our menu items and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and organized restaurant including restocking supplies, clearing tables, and performing side duties throughout your shift
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and food/beverage service laws
- Work independently and as part of a team to ensure smooth operation during busy dining hours
- Contribute to creating a positive and professional work environment
Requirements:
- Relevant experience as a server in a fast-paced environment (Preferred but not required)
- Good knowledge or understanding of Korean and Japanese cuisine and beverage offerings
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Knowledge of and commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment
- Familiarity with inventory management and ordering processes is a plus
