A large BC based Automotive Group is seeking an energetic and results-driven General Manager to lead our dealership’s sales operations with enthusiasm and strategic insight.
In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire sales team to success, drive high-end vehicle sales, and cultivate a robust sales pipeline.
The ideal candidate is a dynamic communicator with extensive dealership and sales management experience, ready to motivate teams, develop relationships, and elevate our brand presence in the automotive marketplace.
Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years experience as a Automotive Sales Manager.
Key Duties
- Source new leads and referrals.
- Conduct outbound calls and email outreach to prospective customers and existing contacts.
- Maintain regular communication with customers, guests, and prospects.
- Collaborate with senior management on daily operational and customer experience initiatives.
- Develop and maintain expert knowledge of all products, services, and programs.
- Assist with vehicle delivery processes and customer onboarding.
- Coordinate customer transportation needs, including service-related pick-ups and drop-offs.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and performance targets are consistently achieved.
- Provide administrative support, including documentation management, financing paperwork, deposits, and record keeping.
- Assist with social media and digital engagement activities.
- Support the planning and execution of marketing and customer appreciation events.
- Participate in all aspects of the customer journey, including pre-delivery preparation and follow-up activities.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- Have a minimum 5+ years experience in Automotive Sales Management
- PBS Knowledge is considered a key asset
- Have a proven track record leading teams
- Excellent negotiation skills coupled with outstanding communication abilities
- Proficiency with CRM software, and inventory control systems
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
- Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills
