About the Role
Forward Furniture is looking for a reliable, hardworking Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate to handle furniture deliveries and help keep our warehouse organized. This is a part-time, casual position with hours that vary week to week based on delivery volume — a good fit for someone who wants flexible work alongside other commitments.
Most of the work is solo: loading the truck, delivering furniture to customers around Calgary and surrounding areas, and setting up or placing items in the customer's home. You'll represent the store directly with customers, so a friendly, professional attitude matters as much as a strong back.
What You'll Do
- Load, secure, and deliver furniture (sofas, sectionals, beds, massage chairs, saunas, dining sets) to customers
- Drive the company delivery truck safely and on schedule
- Place and set up items in customers' homes with care
- Communicate with customers about delivery windows in a courteous, professional way
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and stocked
- Help receive and check incoming inventory
- Follow safe lifting and driving practices at all times
What You Need
- Valid Alberta Class 5 driver's licence (non-GDL)
- Clean driving record (a driver's abstract will be requested before hiring)
- Eligible to be added to the company's commercial auto insurance policy
- Ability to lift heavy items safely and repeatedly throughout a shift
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Friendly, professional manner with customers
- Previous delivery, moving, or warehouse experience an asset

- Part-time / casual, variable hours
- $20/hour plus a per-delivery bonus
