Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and Landscape Construction SKILLED WORKER to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape construction.
Duties:
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and small equipment
- Excavate, grade, and prepare sites for construction
- Construct patios, walkways, driveways, and retaining walls using stone, brick, pavers, or concrete
- Build wood and composite structures such as decks, fences, gazebos, trellises, and pergolas
- Install drainage systems, irrigation lines, and lighting
- Plant trees, shrubs, sod, and other vegetation according to design plans
- Prepare soil through grading, cultivating, fertilizing, and amending
- Mulch and edge garden beds
- Safely operate skid steers, mini-excavators, compactors, and other landscape machinery
- Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
- Follow project schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols
- Work with supervisors or forepersons to ensure construction aligns with plans
- Apply topsoil, seed, sod, and other surface materials
- Perform finishing touches such as pruning, staking, and clean-up
- Maintain a tidy and safe worksite
- Ensure compliance with WorkSafeBC safety requirements
- Communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, and team members
- Report issues, delays, or hazards promptly

Pay: Up to $32.00 per hour
