Oxford Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Centre (Oxford Surgery Centre) is a modern oral surgery office in Goderich, Ontario. We pride ourselves upon providing an exceptional patient experience and contributing positively to our community. We are seeking a registered nurse (RN) to join our team on a part-time basis.
Prospective candidates must thrive in a professional, fast-paced environment.
Main responsibilities include:
- Assisting during intravenous sedation and general anesthesia procedures.
- Starting IVs and recording vital signs during procedures.
- Diligent record keeping for sedation records.
- Patient education (reviewing preoperative and postoperative instructions).
- Supporting other team members during patient care.
- Requires ACLS certification. PALS certification is a bonus but is not required.
Computer software skills are an asset. In addition to the above skills, candidates must demonstrate commitment to fostering a positive and enthusiastic attitude in their role.
