Overview
We are seeking a responsible and attentive School Road Crossing Guard to ensure the safety of students as they travel to and from school. This role involves assisting children in crossing streets safely during arrival and dismissal times, contributing to a secure school environment. The position offers an opportunity to serve the community while promoting safety awareness among young students.
Duties
- Assist students in crossing designated streets at school zones during scheduled times
- Use appropriate hand signals and signage to alert drivers and ensure safe passage
- Monitor traffic flow and communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff
- Maintain a visible presence at crosswalks during assigned shifts to promote safety
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures established by the school district or local authorities
- Report any unsafe conditions or incidents to the appropriate personnel promptly
