What You'll Do
As a Cook at Waterford, you will:
- Prepare and present high-quality, nutritious meals for our residents.
- Maintain exceptional food quality, consistency, and presentation.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection prevention standards.
- Work collaboratively with the Dining Services team to create an outstanding dining experience.
- Take pride in providing excellent customer service while interacting with residents and families.
- Help create a warm, welcoming dining atmosphere every day.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in a professional kitchen (retirement, long-term care, restaurant, or hospitality experience is an asset).
- Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- A passion for cooking and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude, reliability, and a strong team-first approach.
