Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Full-Time Dishwasher to join our hospitality team. This vital role ensures the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchenware, dishes, and utensils, supporting the smooth operation of our restaurant or hotel environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive attitude. Prior experience in food service or restaurant settings is a plus but not required, as training will be provided. Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and dry dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and other kitchen equipment efficiently and thoroughly
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas to uphold health and safety standards
- Assist with organizing and storing clean items in designated areas for easy access during food preparation and service
- Support kitchen staff by ensuring all necessary dishware is available for daily operations
- Follow proper food handling procedures and safety guidelines at all times
- Assist with light cleaning duties around the kitchen as needed to maintain a hygienic environment
- Adhere to all health regulations and company policies regarding sanitation and safety
Qualifications
- Previous experience in cleaning or food service environments is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of basic kitchen operations, including food handling and preparation, is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong work ethic with reliability and punctuality
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 40 pounds when necessary
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed within operational hours
