Overview
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background with experience in maintaining and repairing various types of construction equipment, including excavators, loaders, trucks gas and diesel engines etc.
Our shop is solely for repairs and maintenance of our own construction equipment
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to diagnose mechanical issues and execute repairs.
- Conduct electrical troubleshooting and repairs as needed
- Assemble components and systems for heavy machinery.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards while operating heavy equipment
Requirements
- Proven mechanic experience with minimum 5 years heavy equipment repair experience
- Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment and automotive repair.
- Familiarity with welding techniques and heavy lifting practices.
- Ability to operate various types of heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Remuneration based on experience
