Job Summary
Paloma Pressure Control Canada Ltd. is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Assistant to join our finance team. This is an entry-level position, ideal for someone who is eager to start their career in accounting and finance. The successful candidate will assist with processing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the daily operations of the accounts payable function.
Responsibilities
- Enter and process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records
- Assist with account reconciliations and month-end tasks as required
- Support general administrative and data entry duties within the finance department
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel (data entry, sorting, simple formulas, etc.)
- Comfortable working with numbers and data entry tasks
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and take direction in a fast-paced environment
