Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen is looking for Assistant General Manager.
Location: 2505 Eversyde Ave SW, Calgary, AB T2Y 5G8
For your success, you will receive certified training from Popeyes which will allow you to carry out tasks under Popeyes Standards & Procedures.
Our Assistant Manager report directly to the Restaurant Manager and are responsible for running a smooth operations while contributing their time towards the goal of the restaurant. You will be responsible for training and grooming employees and ensure that exceptional service is delivered to our guests.
Soft skills required: Passion for food and service, professional, positive attitude, good work ethics, time management, ability to take initiative and multi-task. Previous management, customer service and food experience is an asset.
What to expect in your role as an Assistant Manager

Support the Restaurant General Manager in leading the team, ensuring optimal team member coverage and works various positions during busy periods to maintain optimal service levels through demonstrated floor

Complete all required shift documentation and follows principles of sanitation and safety in handling food and equipment.

Display a “Guests are first” attitude and lead as an example to make sure we deliver an exceptional guest service as a team.

Help Restaurant General Manager control costs by reviewing portion control and quantities of preparation, minimizing waste as well as ensuring.

Ensure all restaurant policies are followed during the shift (e.g. cash policies, meal and break policies, food safety policies) by working alongside team members on the floor at all times and give constructive feedbacks. Comply with and enforces all Popeyes Operational and Always Fresh standards.

Assist the Restaurant General Manager in hiring, training team members scheduling and ordering inventory

Assist the Restaurant General Manager in maintaining brand standards and controlling food and labour cost.
