As a Budtender, you will be responsible for guiding customers through their purchasing experience, offering product recommendations, and ensuring compliance with all regulations. Your role is crucial in creating a welcoming atmosphere while educating customers about our products.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide detailed information about various cannabis products, including strains, edibles, and concentrates.
- Utilize effective time management skills to handle multiple customers efficiently.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process transactions.
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace to enhance the customer experience.
- Educate customers on responsible usage and safety guidelines related to cannabis products.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the dispensary.
- Uphold all legal regulations and company policies regarding cannabis sales.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting discrepancies.
Requirements
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Previous retail sales experience is preferred, particularly in the cannabis industry or similar fields.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory counts.
- Proficiency in computer operation, including familiarity with POS systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- A background in hospitality or leadership roles is a plus, enhancing team dynamics and customer interactions.
- A genuine interest in cannabis culture and knowledge of various products is highly desirable.
