Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of vehicles while ensuring high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns using modern diagnostic equipment.
- Complete repairs on brakes, suspension, steering, engine, transmission, exhaust, and other vehicle systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire services, and fluid replacements.
- Perform safety inspections and provide detailed reports on vehicle conditions.
- Maintain accurate repair records and document completed work orders.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors regarding repair recommendations and required parts.
- Ensure all work is completed according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Diploma, Certificate, or Degree in Automotive Service Technology, Automotive Repair, Automotive Mechanics, or a related automotive field.
- Previous experience in automotive repair and diagnostics.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience with diagnostic scanners and repair software.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Additional certifications and manufacturer training are considered an asset.
- Ability to perform advanced diagnostics and electrical repairs.
