Summary
As assistant baker you will work alongside our lead baker to prepare and bake high-quallity products while maintining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen. This is a hands on position that requires high attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Assist with preparing doughs, batters, fillings, sandwiches, soups and salads.
- Ensure fresh and quality products are packaged and consistenly available.
- Weigh and measure ingredients accurately.
- Follow recipies and food safety and handling procedures, ensuring compliance at all times.
- Operate all equipment safely & report any concerns immediatley.
- Help with packaging.
- Mainatin a clean and organized workspace.
- Wash dishes and sanitize equipment.
- Stock ingredients and supplies as needed.
- Support kitchen operations during busy periods, and support the team ensuring products are ready on schedule.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating effectively.
- Maintain confidenitality and non compete requirements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, baking, or kitchen work.
- Strong team work skills.
- Knowledge of food safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Previous restaurant or bakery experience is preferred.
- Ability to handle food safely and hygienically.
- Reliable, puntual, and available to work early mornings and weekends.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50lbs.
