Job Summary
We are seeking friendly, attentive, and professional Waitstaff to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling transactions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience. Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required; we value excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and possess basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling responsibilities.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on tables regularly and addressing any needs promptly.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change.
- Upsell menu items to increase sales opportunities while providing personalized recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen duties as needed to support overall restaurant operations.
- Follow all food safety protocols, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and basic math for cashiering tasks.
- Experience in upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales is advantageous.
- Ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through excellent time management skills.
