Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of equipment and machinery to ensure smooth operations. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Diagnose mechanical issues accurately using appropriate tools and techniques
- Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools and power tools
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Assist in troubleshooting complex mechanical problems and implement effective solutions
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies
- Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance procedures and equipment uptime
Qualifications
- Proven experience or strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.
- Experience with power tools including drills, grinders, and pneumatic tools is preferred
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Prior experience in industrial or automotive maintenance is a plus
