Overview
We are currently looking for a reliable and motivated Parts Advisor to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in the truck or automotive industry who takes pride in staying organized, working efficiently, and supporting both customers and technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email in a professional and timely manner
- Assist customers in identifying and sourcing the correct parts using catalogs and vendor resources
- Sell and invoice parts to both wholesale and retail customers
- Source parts from aftermarket vendors and contact suppliers for availability and pricing
- Support technicians by supplying parts accurately and efficiently to keep jobs moving
- Receive incoming parts, verify quantities, and ensure accuracy against orders
- Input invoices and ensure all parts are properly billed to work orders
- Maintain a clean, organized parts room and manage bin locations
- Perform cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels
- Assist with shipping, receiving, cores, and general parts department operations
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies
- Contribute to a positive and team-focused work environment
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience in truck or automotive parts sales
- Strong knowledge of parts catalog systems and sourcing methods
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced shop environment
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
Assets (Not Required but Highly Valued):
- Experience with CDK Drive or similar dealership management systems
- Experience in heavy-duty truck parts (an asset)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 44 per week
