Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and personable Hair Stylist/ hair braiders and or loctician to join our vibrant salon team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hair styling and providing exceptional customer service. This role offers an opportunity to showcase creativity, build strong client relationships, and contribute to a welcoming salon environment. The Hair Stylist will be responsible for delivering high-quality haircuts, color treatments, styling, and other hair services while ensuring client satisfaction and maintaining salon standards.
Duties
- Provide professional hair styling services including hair braid, silk press,locks or cuts, color, highlights, blowouts, and special treatments tailored to client preferences
- Consult with clients to understand their desired look and recommend suitable styles or products
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, equipment, and workstations in compliance with health regulations
- Upsell retail products such as shampoos, conditioners, styling tools, and hair care treatments to enhance client experience
- Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and processing payments
- Build lasting relationships with clients through excellent communication and personalized service
- Stay updated on the latest hair trends and techniques through ongoing education and training
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients
- Expertise in hair styling techniques including cutting, coloring, and styling
- Knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a safe and hygienic environment
- Ability to upsell retail products effectively without being pushy
- Excellent communication skills for consulting with clients and collaborating with team members
- Experience in retail sales within a salon setting is preferred
- Front desk skills including appointment booking, cash handling, and maintaining a professional demeanor

Pay: $15.70-$18.00 per hour
