What You'll Do
As our Human Resources Support, you'll assist with a variety of HR and administrative-related responsibilities that help keep our people supported.
Human Resources Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day HR activities based on priorities
- Handle full-cycle recruitment from jobs posting, shortlisting, coordinating interviews, reference checks, and communicating with candidates
- Develop and update job descriptions as needed
- Prepare interview questions for accounting related positions
- Draft offer letters, regret letters, employment agreements, and other HR correspondence
- Assemble onboarding packages for the new hires
- Maintain confidential employee files and HR records
- Audit HR policies and procedures and recommend improvements
- Assist with HR compliance initiatives and employment documentation
- Conduct research on HR best practices and employment legislation
- Support employee recognition and engagement initiatives
- Maintain HR spreadsheets, reports, and databases
- Assist with administrative projects as assigned
What We're Looking For Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Human Resources, recruitment, administration, or office support
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Professional, positive, and dependable attitude
Assets (Preferred)
- Diploma or certificate in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience with recruitment and onboarding
- Familiarity with Alberta Employment Standards
- Experience developing HR policies, procedures, or documentation
- Experience in a professional office, accounting firm, or legal environment

Compensation & Schedule
