Sheet Metal Fabricator
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator to manufacture, assemble, and install sheet metal products according to engineering drawings and specifications. The ideal candidate has experience operating fabrication equipment, interpreting blueprints, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
- Measure, mark, cut, bend, shape, and assemble sheet metal components.
- Operate fabrication equipment such as shears, press brakes, rollers, punches, and welding machines.
- Perform MIG, TIG, or spot welding as required.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications.
- Use precision measuring tools, including calipers, tape measures, and micrometers.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following all company safety procedures.
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and fabrication equipment.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules.
- Report equipment issues, material shortages, or quality concerns promptly.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in sheet metal fabrication or a related manufacturing role.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Knowledge of fabrication techniques and metalworking equipment.
- Strong mathematical and measurement skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Welding certification or relevant trade certification.
- Experience with CNC fabrication equipment.
- Forklift or overhead crane certification.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and quality control processes.

Working Conditions

Pay: $19.00-$28.00 per hour
