Job Description:
Galaxy Freightline Inc. is seeking experienced and driven Warehouse Supervisors to lead operations at our high-volume Mississauga terminal. This role is critical to ensuring smooth freight movement during both Afternoon and Night shifts, supporting continuous 24/7 operations.
The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, hands-on LTL experience, and the ability to manage teams in a fast-paced cross-dock environment while maintaining safety, efficiency, and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage warehouse operations and team during Afternoon and Night shifts
- Supervise loading, unloading, cross-docking, and freight consolidation activities
- Lead, schedule, and support warehouse staff to meet daily operational targets
- Ensure proper LTL load planning, staging, and shipment accuracy
- Operate and oversee safe use of counterbalance forklifts
- Coordinate with dispatch and operations teams to align warehouse flow with deliveries
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Monitor team performance, resolve issues quickly, and ensure deadlines are met
- Train new staff and enforce company policies and safety standards
Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years of warehouse experience (LTL environment required)
- Minimum 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role
- Strong knowledge of LTL loading, cross-docking, and freight consolidation
- Hands-on experience with counterbalance forklift operations
- Forklift certification preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Must be reliable and flexible to work Afternoon or Night shifts

Pay: $60,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
