Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Burrito Makers to join our team in a dynamic food service environment. This role involves preparing delicious burritos and other menu items while providing excellent customer service. Whether full-time or part-time, the ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced setting, ensuring food quality, safety, and customer satisfaction are maintained at all times.
Duties
- Prepare and assemble burritos and other menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Manage food preparation stations efficiently to meet customer demand
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Handle cash transactions accurately and provide friendly customer service
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Follow all sanitation and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
- Experience in cashiering, serving, or restaurant operations is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices is desirable
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing inventory accurately
- Prior kitchen or food industry experience will be beneficial for understanding workflow and hygiene standards
Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
