Pylon Electronics Inc. is an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration facility supporting both electronic and physical test equipment and is one of the largest Canadian Owned Calibration Laboratories. Pylon Electronics has a solid reputation in the repair and calibration of measuring instruments. We currently have seven laboratories located in Montreal (QC), Ottawa (ON), Toronto (ON), Dartmouth (NS), Calgary (AB), Edmonton (AB), and Richmond (BC).
What we are looking for:
Pylon Electronics Inc. is seeking an ambitious individual with skills and qualifications for a full-time position as an Electronics Calibration Technician to evaluate equipment testing methods, report data on findings, and review/improve processes and procedures. The Electronics Laboratory services a wide variety of equipment ranging from basic analog DC measurement/sourcing gear to sophisticated high-frequency equipment.
What you will do:
· Follow calibration procedures and perform verification tests and alignments of electronic test equipment
· Ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures.
· Maintain and calibrate testing equipment.
· Work independently and as part of a team in different settings.
· Develop test data sheets using Microsoft Excel
· Identify and report non-conformance issues.
· Support additional tasks as assigned.
What we require:
· Graduate of an Electronics or Electrical Technical Program
· Minimum of 3 years advanced electronics knowledge and calibration experience
· RF & Microwave experience
· Well organized and attentive to details
· Demonstrated communication skills
· Meticulous work habits
· Above average skills with MS Excel, and VBA.
· Programming experience such as METCAL, LabView, etc.
· Working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025
· Valid Driver’s License
· Controlled Goods & Industrial Security Clearance of Secret Level II will be required.
