Carpenters - Flooring Installers at On Side rebuild and restore damaged personal property anywhere and anytime a disaster strikes. With the goal of getting things back to a pre-disaster state, Flooring Carpenters focus on repairing existing flooring and installing new flooring. What You’ll Do
- Finishing work and fine details, rough and trim
- Preparing flooring surface
- Installing laminate and vinyl flooring as well as carpet
- Complete flooring repairs
What You Bring
- 3+ years experience installing flooring
- Experience in interior carpentry repairs is a strong asset
- Attention to detail, passion for quality and pride in the work you do
- Tools and the skills to use them
- Strong people and communication skills
- Ability to work independently or in a team
- A safety mindset
- Tech-savvy (comfortable using apps and software)
- Valid drivers license
- Ability to pass a criminal record check
- Ability to communicate in English, both written and spoken

Disasters can strike at any time so a rotating schedule of 24/7 after hours on-call work is a requirement. Meaning you’ll work regular weekday hours and participate in a rotating after-hours on-call schedule.
