Title: Junior Draftsperson
Continual Energy Inc. deploys cutting-edge, specialized energy solutions for buildings. We are currently looking for a qualified individual to join our team as a junior draftsperson. The ideal candidate will have experience with creating and editing drawings and documentation for use in the implementation of heating, cooling, and ventilation controls and optimization projects for commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities.
Core Responsibilities:
- Report to engineering manager to create and edit drawings from design references.
- Draft drawings from design sketches and briefs, including but not limited to: Network drawings, system layout and instrumentation drawings, panel and electrical schematic drawings, schedules for systems and components, datasheet packages.
- Participate in design review meetings and implement corrections from review markups.
- Assemble documentation packages for submission per project requirements.
- Daily office work required from Monday through Friday, with occasional travel to project sites within GTA.
Skills Required:
- Very comfortable with Windows-based computer systems and Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) software, such as: Microsoft Visio, AutoCAD, and BricsCAD
- Ability to take direction, work in a fast-paced team and collaborative environment, multi-task, and maintain organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Additional desired skills, but not required:
- Knowledge of mechanical Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning systems.
- Industry experience with Building Automation and Direct Digital Controls (DDC).
Qualifications and Education Required:
- Diploma, degree, and/or equivalent relevant experience in related field.
Compensation:
- Salary range $50,000 to $75,000 dependent upon experience and qualifications.
- Three (3) weeks of vacation.
- Ten (10) paid days off (sick days).

Schedule:
- Typical work week is Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
