In this course, students will develop representational painting skills through life-painting and by working from photographs. Students will also develop research and critical skills by studying contemporary and historical art works, through discussion, and group critiques.
Position Requirements
The successful candidate must possess an MFA in Painting or closely related visual arts field (BFA/equivalent for currently registered University/Graduate Teaching Fellows), or equivalent, with evidence of a contemporary painting practice, and an active record of dissemination in Painting. University teaching experience is preferred.

ART 344 is scheduled on Thursdays from 11:30-14:15 (on campus).
