Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Pizza Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves delivering hot, fresh pizzas to customers promptly while providing excellent service. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting and moving. Duties
- Safely operate a vehicle to deliver pizzas to customers within designated areas
- Ensure orders are accurate and complete before delivery
- Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries
- Handle cash or credit transactions when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle
- Assist with loading and unloading supplies or equipment as needed, including moving heavy items or using equipment like forklifts in warehouse settings
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations during deliveries
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding delivery status or any issues encountered
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks such as moving items or using warehouse equipment like forklifts if required
- Experience in commercial driving with a valid driver’s license preferred
- Good navigation skills and familiarity with local streets and routes
- Ability to work independently while managing time efficiently
- Previous warehouse experience or experience with moving heavy items is a plus
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members
