Overview
We are looking someone who enjoy working outdoors in a professional and safe environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for tree care and landscape maintenance, along with the technical expertise to manage various tree-related tasks. As a part of our team you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of trees in our care while providing exceptional service to our clients.
Qualifications:
- A passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors
- Interest in working outdoors year-round in all weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work on a multi-disciplinary team
- Prior tree care, landscaping, forestry, or horticulture experience is preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Assist & perform hedge trimming
- Assist in tree trimming, pruning, and removal using appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Work with ladders, occasionally drive truck and trailer
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, reporting any repairs needed.
Skills
- Experience in landscape maintenance practices, including knowledge of plant species and care requirements.
- Familiarity with rigging techniques for safe tree removal or trimming operations is not a must but can be an asset.
- Ability to operate a boom lift is not a must but can be an asset.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to providing high-quality service in garden care.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Ability to commute/relocate:
- West Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
