Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled and licensed 310S Licensed Automotive Service Technician to join our team in Barrie, Ontario. The ideal candidate is passionate about the automotive industry, takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship, and is committed to providing exceptional customer service.
In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles while ensuring all repairs are completed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with manufacturer and shop standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems.
- Perform inspections, maintenance services, and repairs on domestic and import vehicles.
- Complete brake, suspension, steering, engine, transmission, HVAC, and drivetrain repairs.
- Use advanced diagnostic equipment and scan tools to accurately identify vehicle concerns.
- Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and fluid replacements.
- Conduct Ontario Safety Standards inspections and road tests to verify vehicle performance and repair quality.
- Accurately document inspections, diagnoses, and completed repairs on repair orders.
- Work closely with Service Advisors to communicate repair recommendations and estimated completion timelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all workplace safety policies and manufacturer repair procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid Ontario 310S Automotive Service Technician Licence.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience using automotive diagnostic equipment and repair technology.
- Ability to perform repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and time management abilities.
- Experience working on domestic, Asian, and European vehicles is considered an asset.

- Own a complete set of professional tools.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
