Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to support our distribution and manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse management systems, heavy equipment operation, and order fulfillment processes. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy lifting, and operating various types of warehouse machinery to ensure efficient shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
Duties
- Load and unload shipments using forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and other heavy equipment
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision and efficiency
- Manage inventory through warehouse management systems
- Assist with shipping & receiving activities, ensuring accurate documentation and tracking
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse environment
- Support manufacturing processes through material handling and equipment setup
- Perform heavy lifting tasks as required for order fulfillment and stock replenishment
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations and improve workflow efficiency
Requirements
- Prior experience in warehouse distribution or manufacturing environments preferred
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures and order fulfillment processes
- Experience with packaging, load & unload activities, and inventory control is desirable
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety protocols

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
