Job Summary
As a Food & Beverage Supervisor at Sasquatch Mountain Resort, you’ll play a key role in creating an exceptional guest experience through leadership, quality control, and hands-on support across our resort’s dining outlets. You’ll work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure all Food & Beverage areas operate efficiently, staff are trained and motivated, and guests receive outstanding service in every interaction. This is a dynamic, people-centered role requiring flexibility, leadership, and a commitment to excellence in both front-of-house operations and behind-the-scenes organization.

Job Responsibilities
- Circulate between Food & Beverage outlets to monitor service quality and guest satisfaction during peak times
- Support, train, and motivate F&B staff to maintain high performance and adherence to resort standards
- Recognize outstanding performance and lead by example through professional conduct and service excellence
- Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, ensuring positive resolution and guest satisfaction
- Provide direct service as needed — including serving, bartending, seating guests, bussing tables, or assisting at special functions
- Coordinate and plan events with vendors and third-party partners, including scheduling entertainment such as bands and special activities
- Assist the Operations Manager in overseeing profitable operations, staffing levels, inventory control, costing, and supply distribution
- Support budgeting, reporting, and accountability for financial performance within the F&B department
- Ensure all transactions, floats, and cash-outs are accurate and compliant with accounting procedures
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with other resort departments to align operations and share resources
- Assist in developing creative drink menus using modern mixology principles to enhance guest offerings
- Follow safety and reporting procedures for accidents and incidents, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up
- Enforce Food Services policies and procedures, reporting any infractions to management
- Maintain a clean, professional, and presentable appearance at all times
- Practice safe work procedures and promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Previous experience in Food & Beverage operations required (supervisory experience preferred)
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and support a team
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
- Serving It Right certification required; Food Safe Level 1 required (Level 2 an asset)
- Experience handling cash, floats, and POS systems
- Basic knowledge of mixology, event planning, or vendor coordination considered an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and composure
- Must be able to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors during resort events
- Must be organized, adaptable, and have strong time management skills
- Family-oriented resort must enjoy engaging with guests of all ages
- Cross-department support and snow removal is required from all positions at SMR
