Job Type: Temporary, Contract, Temporary-to-Permanent & Permanent Opportunities
Start Date: Various – ASAP and upcoming opportunities
Schedule: Various shifts available, including days, afternoons, evenings, and nights
Qualifications:
- Previous forklift, warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or general labour experience is an asset
- Valid forklift certification is an asset for forklift opportunities
- Ability to safely operate a counterbalance, reach, or other forklift equipment as required
- Ability to perform physical work and remain active throughout the shift
- Ability to lift and move materials as required
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace
- Ability to follow workplace safety procedures and instructions
- WHMIS certification is an asset
Responsibilities:
Candidates may be responsible for a variety of tasks depending on the assignment, including but not limited to:
- Operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely
- Loading and unloading materials, products, and shipments
- Picking, packing, sorting, and preparing orders
- Receiving, organizing, and moving inventory
- Moving materials throughout the warehouse or worksite
- Performing general labour and material-handling tasks
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Following all workplace health and safety procedures
Note: Duties, schedules, and requirements may vary depending on the specific assignment and worksite.
Experience:
- Previous experience operating a forklift is an asset
- Previous experience in general labour, warehousing, manufacturing, or distribution is an asset
- Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply for suitable general labour opportunities
- Experience with pallet jacks or other warehouse equipment is an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
