Responsibilities:
- Assist journeyman/journeywoman electricians with electrical installations and repairs
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints and diagrams
- Measure, cut, and bend electrical conduit
- Install and connect wiring, outlets, switches, and fixtures
- Test electrical systems for proper functioning
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and make necessary repairs
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (COMPLETION OF GRADE 12 MATHEMATICS and PHYSICS IS MANDATORY)
- Completion of an apprenticeship program or enrollment in a recognized apprenticeship program
-ADVANTAGE FOR HIRE ARE THOSE WITH AT LEASE 6 MONTH WORK EXPERIENCE IN THE ELECTRICAL TRADE.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good manual dexterity and physical stamina
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Note: This position is for individuals who are interested in learning the trade of electrical work. Apprentice electricians will work under the guidance of experienced electricians to gain hands-on experience and develop the necessary skills to become a licensed electrician.
