We sell across multiple retail and e-commerce channels including Shopify, Amazon, Walmart Marketplace, and major Canadian retailers. We are looking for a motivated and experienced Walmart Marketplace & Advertising Specialist to help scale our online sales and optimize our Walmart presence.
Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Walmart Marketplace & Advertising Specialist to manage and grow our Walmart Marketplace accounts. The ideal candidate will have experience with Walmart Seller Center, Walmart Connect Ads, listing optimization, campaign management, and marketplace growth strategies.
You will be responsible for improving product visibility, increasing conversions, managing advertising campaigns, optimizing listings, and supporting overall Walmart e-commerce operations.
Responsibilities
Walmart Marketplace Management
- Manage and maintain Walmart Marketplace listings for Canada and USA
- Create, update, and optimize product listings, titles, descriptions, bullet points, and backend keywords
- Monitor product performance, inventory status, and listing health
- Ensure listings comply with Walmart Marketplace guidelines and policies
- Troubleshoot listing issues, suppressed products, and catalog errors
Walmart Advertising & Growth
- Plan, launch, and optimize Walmart Connect advertising campaigns
- Monitor ROAS, CPC, CTR, conversion rates, and ad performance metrics
- Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis
- Improve organic ranking and visibility of products
- Develop strategies to increase sales and marketplace growth
E-Commerce Optimization
- Analyze sales trends and customer behavior
- Create promotional strategies and seasonal campaigns
- Coordinate pricing updates, promotions, and product launches
- Assist with improving product images, A+ content, and creative assets
- Support brand growth across online marketplaces
Reporting & Communication
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports
- Track advertising spend and campaign profitability
- Communicate with internal teams regarding inventory, product launches, and marketing initiatives
- Provide recommendations for improving marketplace performance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, E-Commerce, or related field preferred
- Proven experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, or related fields with a focus on marketplace management.
- Strong knowledge of SEO strategies, Google Ads (Google AdWords), Facebook Advertising, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and DoubleClick.
- Experience with keyword research tools and techniques to identify high-impact search terms.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data insights into actionable strategies.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes for digital advertising campaigns.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Prior experience working on Walmart Marketplace or similar e-commerce platforms is preferred but not required.
