<br><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Electric Motor Systems Technician</b></h2>
<p></p><p>As an electric motor systems technician, you will test, rewind, recondition, rebuild, and service electric motors, coils, and similar equipment.</p>
<h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Responsibilities:</b></h3>
<ul><li>Rebuild, refurbish and repair electric AC and DC motors</li>
<li>Assemble and test electric motor and generator stators, armatures, or rotors</li>
<li>Inspect cores for defects and align laminations</li>
<li>Test windings for motor-housing clearance, grounds, and short circuits</li>
<li>Test reconditioned motors and similar electro-mechanical equipment</li>
<li>Manufacture new coils for armatures, stators, or rotors of used motors and generators</li>
<li>Rewind coils</li>
<li>Test and observe electrical and mechanical condition of equipment</li>
<li>Replace shafts, bearings, commutators and other components</li>
<li>Mechanical removal/disassembly or inspection of equipment at customer sites</li>
<li>Rewinding of single phase and three phase motors</li>
<li>Perform other duties as required and assigned by management</li>
</ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Requirements:</b></h3>
<ul><li>5 years' experience rewinding and servicing electric AC and DC motors</li>
<li>Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs</li>
<li>Able to lift/position heavy motor components</li>
<li>Able to follow basic health and safety procedures and protocols</li>
<li>Good communication skills and writing skills (English)</li></ul></div>
