Job Summary
We are currently hiring a Maintenance Mechanic / Millwright and Maintenance Electrician for a manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate must have strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills and experience maintaining production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues.
- Diagnose and repair motors, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical controls, sensors, VFDs, and PLCs.
- Minimize equipment downtime through effective troubleshooting.
- Complete maintenance reports and work orders.
- Follow all health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Valid Ontario Industrial Electrician and Industrial Millwright License is required.
- Minimum 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Experience troubleshooting PLCs, motors, conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatics is an asset.
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Experience in Cosmetic and Food industry is an asset
