Position: Sales Manager
Job Summary:As a Sales Manager at Prouse Chevrolet, you will be responsible for leading and managing the sales team to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service. Your primary goal is to maximize sales revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Management:Recruit, train, and onboard sales staff.
Set sales targets and performance goals for the team.
Provide coaching and mentorship to motivate and develop sales representatives.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
Sales Strategy:Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to adjust strategies accordingly.
Ensure the team follows best practices in sales techniques and customer engagement.
Customer Service:Maintain a high standard of customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
Handle customer complaints and issues, providing effective solutions.
Create and maintain a positive and professional sales environment.
Inventory Management:Oversee the dealership's inventory of vehicles, ensuring appropriate stock levels.
Monitor vehicle pricing, discounts, and promotions to maximize sales and profitability.
Sales Reporting:Generate sales reports and analyze data to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
Provide regular updates to the dealership management on sales activities and results.
Budget Management:Develop and manage the department's budget, including expenses and cost control.
Work to optimize the department's profitability and efficiency.
Compliance and Documentation:Ensure that all sales transactions, documentation, and paperwork comply with legal and dealership standards.
Stay informed about relevant automotive industry regulations and changes.
Marketing and Promotion:Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective advertising and promotional campaigns.
Participate in local and community events to promote the dealership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in automotive sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role within the automotive industry is a significant advantage.
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of automotive financing and leasing options.
- Proficiency in using sales and CRM software.
- Understanding of automotive industry trends and customer preferences.
Working Conditions:
- The role typically requires working in a dealership environment, which may include evenings and weekends.
- Occasional travel for training and dealership-related events may be required.

Pay: $85,000.00-$105,000.00 per year
