Job Overview
We are seeking high energy, outgoing, friendly and efficient Front of House Team Members to join our awesome restaurant team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring smooth operations of the FOH and creating a welcoming environment for all guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.
Duties
- Create an amazing experience for every one of of our valued guests
- Greet guests warmly and assist with their orders
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change using cash handling skills
- Prepare simple food items as needed, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness of the front counter, dining area, and service stations
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health regulations
- Manage order flow during busy periods to minimize wait times
- Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned, including sanitation and restocking supplies
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality and professionalism
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods
- Experience in food preparation, serving, or cashiering is advantageous but not mandatory
- Prior kitchen or food industry experience can be beneficial for understanding food handling procedures
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
