Highland Country Club, a premier private club in London Ontario, is currently seeking a qualified individual for the position of Events Manager.
What You’ll Be Doing:
The Events Manager is responsible for…
- The sales, scheduling, planning, organization and internal communication of all events at the club. Including member, member-sponsored, and club events as they relate to the use of the dining or meeting facilities. Social and dining events include; weddings, meetings, social events, golf tournaments and more.
- Managing the Club’s event calendar, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and cross-departmental collaboration.
- Preparing Event Orders / Contracts outlining the details of the event including pricing and billing information, set up needs and timelines, food and beverage requirements etc.
- Leading and assisting in the execution of events, with a focus on wedding execution.
- Ensuring that billing is completed promptly and accurately.
- Communicating with the F&B service team to ensure event details are clear and executable.
- Providing top notch service and experiences to our members and their guests.
What You Bring to the Table:
- A positive, upbeat demeanor with a desire to create great event experiences for our members, guests and wedding couples.
- 2+ years event planning experience, with a diploma or certificate in events management, wedding planning and/or food and beverage being considered an asset
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with knowledge of POS systems (Jonas), the Google suite of software and other computer programs.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Valid Smart Serve Certification required.

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
