French Tutor-Mentor Opportunity
Bonjour! Are you passionate about French language and culture? TutorBright is seeking enthusiastic French Tutor-Mentors to support K–12 and university students in achieving their academic goals. This flexible, part-time role allows you to create your own schedule while providing personalized, in-home tutoring and mentorship that makes a lasting impact.
Starting hourly rate for in-home tutoring: $25/hour
What You'll Do
- Deliver individualized French tutoring sessions focused on reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills.
- Act as a mentor and positive role model, helping students build confidence and overcome academic challenges.
- Tailor lesson plans and teaching approaches to match each student's unique learning style and needs.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in both spoken and written French.
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience is considered an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Passion for fostering a supportive and encouraging learning environment.
Requirements
- Availability to provide in-home tutoring services.
- Must be located in Regina.
- Access to reliable transportation.
- Current vulnerable sector police check, or willingness to obtain one.
Preferred Assets
- Currently enrolled in or completed a Bachelor's degree program.
- Graduate of, or currently enrolled in, a B.Ed., B.Sc., or B.Math. program.
- Certified teaching credentials.
