Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Class 3 Driver who will also perform equipment operation and skilled labour duties on job sites. This role is integral to ensuring the safe transport of materials, efficient operation of application equipment, and high-quality installation of gypsum floor underlayment.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain Class 3 trucks to transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites
- Assist with setup, operation, and cleanup of job sites, including hose layout and removal
- Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage or waste
- Perform skilled labour tasks such as site preparation
- Follow all company and site-specific safety policies and procedures
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any issues to the supervisor
- Assist crew members with various tasks to ensure projects are completed on time and to quality standards
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required.
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record.
- Strong understanding of freight handling and transportation regulations.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and ability to work as part of a team
- Willingness to travel to various job sites within Alberta, Saskatchewan and BC
