Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform dental receptionist duties such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records
- Provide support to the dentist in all aspects of patient care
- Maintain a clean and organized dental office environment
Qualifications:
- Certification or degree in Dental Assisting
- Knowledge of medical terminology and dental procedures
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
- Proficiency in using dental software such as Dentrix and Epic
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM technology for digital impressions is preferred
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent organizational skills to manage patient records and appointments
- Ability to work well in a team environment
