Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic IB French / TEF & TCF Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong ability to support students in their French learning journey across different proficiency levels. Candidates with multilingual abilities, classroom experience, and familiarity with IB and Ontario curriculum are highly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver French language instruction to students at various proficiency levels
- Prepare students specifically for the TEF and/or TCF examinations, covering all four components: listening, speaking, reading, and writing
- Support students in IB French coursework and exam preparation, with lessons tailored to IB curriculum expectations
- Develop lesson plans tailored to exam requirements, curriculum standards, and individual student needs
- Conduct regular assessments and provide feedback to track student progress
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in French, Education, Linguistics, or a related field
- Familiarity with the structure, content, and preparation strategies for TEF and/or TCF exams
- Strong familiarity with the IB French curriculum is highly preferred
- Familiarity with the Ontario French curriculum is preferred
- Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese is an asset, and this role is well-suited for English/Mandarin-speaking applicants
- Ability to teach French effectively and adapt lessons to students with different learning goals

Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
