They are seeking a hands-on Production Maintenance Mechanic to support equipment reliability, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and help keep production running safely and efficiently. What You Will Be Doing
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues on automated production equipment
- Respond to machine downtime and support timely repairs
- Perform preventative maintenance (PM) and routine equipment servicing
- Replace worn or damaged mechanical components
- Complete equipment inspections and identify potential issues before failures occur
- Read machine fault messages and assist with root-cause troubleshooting
- Support machine changeovers, adjustments, and mechanical setup activities
- Work closely with operators, supervisors, and maintenance personnel to support production goals
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment in accordance with GMP standards
What We're Looking For
- Mechanical troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing, industrial, automotive, packaging, food, pharmaceutical, consumer products, production, assembly, or related environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
- Experience using hand tools, calipers, gauges, wrenches, and common maintenance equipment
- Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings, manuals, or equipment documentation
- Comfortable working around large automated machinery
- Ability to work rotating continental shifts (days and nights)
- Strong sense of urgency and ownership when responding to equipment issues
Nice to Have
- Production maintenance experience
- Food, pharmaceutical, packaging, or GMP manufacturing experience
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs
- Experience supporting automated production equipment
- Mechanical apprenticeship or related trade background
