Job Summary
The Assistant Housekeeping Manager supports the Executive Housekeeper in leading the housekeeping team and maintaining the property's high standards of cleanliness and guest service. This role is ideal for someone with supervisory experience in housekeeping who is ready to take the next step in their hospitality career.
Job Duties
- Assist the Executive Housekeeper in directing the housekeeping and laundry departments, ensuring daily cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas
- Support training, scheduling, and motivating the housekeeping team
- Provide guest room status reports to the Executive Housekeeper
- Inspect guest rooms, linen rooms, and public areas to ensure team members meet the property's standards
- Communicate maintenance and repair needs to the appropriate departments
- Respond promptly to guest needs, fostering a guest-focused service environment
- Support good safety practices among team members and guests, assisting with emergency and security procedures
- Assist with performance evaluations and coaching
- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two years of prior hotel experience in a supervisory role
- Knowledge of inventory practices
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Available full-time
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada; the hotel is unable to assist with Canadian work authorization

Pay: $58,240.00-$61,000.00 per year
