```Job Overview```
Edmonton based Construction General Contractor is seeking a 1st or 2nd Year Carpenter and/or Handyman to join our team. Work is in the greater Edmonton area.
```Duties```
- Assist Project Manager and co-workers in various construction tasks as requested.
- Follow instructions and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
```Qualifications```
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Motivated self starter
- Must be able to read drawings
- Strong attention to detail required
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Must provide drivers abstract upon request
Candidates must have their own transportation. Preference will be given to those with their own tools. Prior construction experience is necessary as well. Wage to be commensurate with experience.
