Berry&Co is seeking a passionate, caring, and experienced childcare professional to join our newest home daycare location as a Lead Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves working with children and wants to grow with an expanding childcare organization.
We are looking for a leader who can create a warm, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to learn through play.
What You'll Do
- Lead daily programming and activities for children ages 1-4 years
- Create a positive and nurturing learning environment
- Plan age-appropriate educational and play-based activities
- Build strong relationships with children and families
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
- Support children's social, emotional, and developmental growth
- Communicate effectively with parents and the Berry&Co team
Qualifications
- Experience working in childcare, daycare, or early learning environments
- ECE diploma is an asset but not required
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- First Aid & CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Check
- Passion for working with children and supporting families
